In 1930 census, Albert Ruth is shown in Scotts Bluff > Gering > District 14 as a lodger in the boarding house of Armina Edgar, along with Armina’s son Orace, daughter Hazel, son Eugene, and fellow lodger Asa Bee[mane?] (illegible). White male, 23 years old, single. Able to read and write, did not attend school since 1929. Born in Nebraska, with parents born in Germany (Tanta Anna born in Austria). Occupation: bookkeeper at a hardware store. Not a veteran.574
