Anna Liesse, 58, 1641 Central Ave., Whiting, passed away Monday, Aug. 16, at home following a lingering illness. Funeral services Thursday, Aug. 19, 2 p.m., Spanburg Funeral Home, 1806 Indianapolis Blvd., Whiting. Rev. Lewis Wilson, Methodist church officiating. Burial Oak Hill Cemetery, Hammond. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. tonight. Survivors: husband, Peter; 1 son: Edward, at home; 3 daughters: Mrs. Elvira McCaig, Mrs. Lucille O’Rourke, Miss Melanie Liesse, all of WHiting; 3 brothers: Paul Stiller, Fred STiller, both of Hammond; Charles Stiller of Whiting; 2 sisters: Mrs. Martha Radloff of Hammond; Mrs. Ida Tucker of Whiting; 5 grandchildren.
