78Died fighting a fire on a railroad car. He fell into the fire and was killed. He was taken to St Margaret’s hospital, where he died. He was injured in Illinois and died in Indiana, so there was no death certificate issued. All that’s left is an undertaker’s report and an obituary. There is also a letter from “Aunt Emma” to Stella which mentions the funeral.
